Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. It was a loss by majority decision.
