Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. She then returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd won her next match with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her, securing a first-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She defeated Lina by grounding and pounding her, winning the TKO in second round. In her second fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for the performance of the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos anjos-lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was her first fight that she's ever had in any significant capacity. Ladd was the winner of the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had hard in a tense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. In a last-minute substitute for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by majority decision.
