Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. Her father and mother were both English. She was raised in the south of a London council estate and attended The Brit School at age fourteen. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned an acting BA. She appeared on stage in numerous productions during her time at school like the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career through a short film called Storm Damage. She has since made appearances in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. In the following year she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. The ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was a star in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her credits in the theatre are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe debuted in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama show was telecast at The CW for only two episodes before being removed from the air. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen as Ashley Davenport. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that Madekwe would depart the series following a guest appearance in the pilot episode in the season's third. In the TV series Salem, she played Tituba between 2014 and the year 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. They collaborated in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He was also a part of the cast with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into a big family. Her parents were Patty and Roy Leggat. Her family included her parents Roy and Patty along with four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's family, which is all athletic, played baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley did not walk, but she did dance, so when she was two and a half she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. That was the start of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley competed in top-level divisions for jazz, tap hip hop, ballet the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated in high school. Ashley was awarded the best soloist awards at all of the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
