Shannon Spake
Shannon Spake (born July 23 of 1976) is an NASCAR reporter, as well as college football and basketball journalist for Fox Sports. Before being hired by Fox Sports, Spake worked with ESPN. She also contributed to SportsCenter's prior- and after-game reports. As well as being the sideline reporter for ESPN basketball and football matches, she was a reporter for the SEC. Spake was also a reporter on SEC Network (owned by ESPN). Prior to joining ESPN, Spake worked at Speed Channel, where she co-hosted NASCAR Nation in its second version (June until November 2005) and was also a reporter during its initial version (February to June 2005). With Marty Smith, she co-hosted Back Seat Drivers (a talk show) with Marty Smith. Prior jobs on the air include WCCB (Charlotte, North Carolina) and Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
